When you're down on creativity fluid...

Whenever I've written anything, It comes randomly. Some of the only few lyrics I've writen came to me during history class during a lecture when I was zoning. Yeah, random. I do'nt have music to it yet, but I do have random riffs going.

I want to actually make a complete song though, that doesnt' sound like cheap poetry.

its ok... ive been in those 'down' situations! i play keyboard and am main vocals in my band... actually, i am right now!!! i just wrote two really good songs and now, i hav nothing much left... im working on two songs that r gonna b pretty good tho!!!!

well, dont force it out!!! if u force it out, it wont really hav meaning, just words!!!!! u wont understand ur own song!!!!! just relax if u cant let any creativity out... it'll come to u... eventually!!! its always came back to me at odd times

Im in the situation right now.... I cnat think of lyrics or guitar parts that are worth while and im like, the leader of our band and it sucks. its like, i no what i wnat - i dont want a pile of shit. i wnat it good or not the first thing I decide to play.
I want structure.

when i need inspiration i go out onto the old abbandoned train bridge near my house.no-one ever goes up there cus its locked off so you have to climb over the fence the view is amazing and the words just come to you.its very inspiring to be out in the open at night and see the stars and all the lights on the cars on the roads.

ah lucky! i need one of those inspiration 'places', nothing is close to my house, just more houses. and i'm not even allowed to go out often (stupid asian parents...). but i do love sitting on a bench in the park or at a mall or something and write lyrics...kinda hard to write guitar stuff while on a bench without a guitar lol.

I have stupid asian parents too! They hardly ever let me out... maybe once or twice in half terms.. that's it.

Erm... in need of inspiration? I lock myself in my room for about 3 hours.. listening to music and thinking about life and those around me.

I think of the past, and the future. What has happend to me, and what I want to happen. I usually write all my songs at school because it's.....just one of those places I guess.

Next time it snows, I'm going to take a walk for inspiration, this town is so pretty when it snows.

And if any of you are looking for songs to listen to, like...to listen to the lyrics and get ideas, I suggest Less Than Jake. Not because they are my favorite band, but because their lyrics are genious. They have some of the deepest, and most meaningful lyrics.
They are just one of those bands where you can say "their music just describes me" ya know?

but whenever i try to write in public people always look at me funny...nobody likes people who talk about their feelings that much at school. Why do you think everyone hates emo kids? The emos in my grade are the only other kids I know who write songs. But they probablt haven't written over 200 like I have.

I usually just walk around my room for a bit and think about anything, words seem to come to me. Then again, I can't write a song to save my life. When I finally do, it sounds like a ripoff of a whole bunch of songs XD
