It's The Roaring 20's. Jazz is king, the Mob rules the streets, and Demons are running amuck. Enter Sister Rosette Christopher, of the Order of Magdalene, an elite group out to destroy the evil. Along with her faithful companion and contractor Chrno, a demon, they go on wild gun slinging adventures. But Rosette's ultimate quest is to find her lost younger brother Joshua, who was taken away for yet unknown reasons by the demon Aion, who seems to have a strange link to Chrno's past.
