Competing against boys is illegal here.
School isn't allowed to have mixed football teams.
It has to be a girl vs girl team, or none at all.

Its not like that here.

and if it was

Con I'd be skipping gym everyday until they let me drop the course.

Its also illegal to drop games, I think xD

I think P.E. should be mandatory. I was fortunate enough to have nice coaches when I had P.E. who actually helped you in your sport. I think that's what most people need. Music is compulsary in most schools, so is Art, and Maths, and English, and Biology. So why can't P.E. be? And if you do have a proper teacher it is good for keeping in shape and being fit.

Maybe you shouldn't get a mark for attainment, but you should for effort. You pay for school, you pay for everything you do in school. The least you can do is to try.

Actually, only two of those subjects are mandatory in my school, English and Maths XD
Art, Music, Biology...all optional. So is PE. I suppose my school is pretty free. 'Games' is still compulsory though. I think its a law.
PE and games are different. PE is actual physical education, Games is just running around for 40 minutes.
It's mandatory until Key Stage 4 I think. So in reference to a more Middle School education, it should be mandatory. We are taught P.E. in Key Stages 1-3 for a reason. To learn how to stay fit. It's a good idea to keep that knowledge for later on in life.

Unfortunately I still have to endure 1 PE lesson a week. Although, my friend and I, usually "think" we've got a guitar lesson, Have to talk to a teacher and basically miss the bus! To me, I know I need the exercise, but I'm lazy and the people in my class arn't the nicest!

It's not like that here.
Last year three girls played for an all boy team. Two quit because they were always being picked on by the boys on the team. Even the coach made fun of them. But the other stayed.

I hate having PE a requirement to graduate. I'm taking Dance instead. It qualifies for my Fine Arts requirement and my PE requirement. It's crazy how many useless classes you absolutely have to take or you won't graduate.

I only have to take two more years of P.E, a 45 minute class everyday. I hate gym. I don't see how running for five minutes and then playing some stupid game like pillow polo is doing anything for me. I'd rather just work out at an actual gym, I hate how I feel after gym. And my hair is always messed up.

You have to take them whether you like it or not though. And mot of the time, they're there in order to make you an all around better person instead of just a narrow-minded subject obsessive person. To give you a broader view of the world, even if it doesn't seem that way at first.

here it's compulsory until the sixth form,
even in key stage 4 we have to do 1 lesson a week,
but i took GCSE PE, so i get 2 lessons and i have 2 theory lessons a week,
it's not bad.

and yes,
i think pe should be compulsory.
