YMCA LOL.:
I seriously want to travel in time, but all I've been told is that its a myth; so thats all I believe now. If that makes sense.

I think I'd be scared to travel through time, who knows what all you could stumble upon, especailly if you went into the future. I mean, hypothetically speaking, lets say Global Warming is never dealt with, and we have no future. You get there, find that out, come back, then what do you do? Would trying to change society help, or would that have already happened and played into the future, and the efforts proved pointless.

Shifty Scares me.

Time travel really hurts my head when I think about it.

If you're going to be going back in time or whatever, then there would be a historical account of what you did because it's already happened. You're always bound to go back because that's what happened. You couldn't change the course of an event either, therefore, because you're always going to have to go back in time. So whatever happens, therefore happens if you get me. I'm trying to explain this simply but there is no simple way of putting it...

Say someone dies and you want to save them. You get in your time machine and you go back in time to a suitable date when you can begin to save them. Well historically you've already gone back in time, because you can look back in record or whatever and notice that you were there. That person is still going to die in the way they did, you just didn't remember that you were there trying to save them because you hadn't done it yet.

Time travel is scary. If anyone ever manages to achieve it, then it shouldn't be used lightly. Gah... I've just confused myself now.

Again, that's assuming that time is a straight line.

For example, if you went back to 1500 or something and someone killed you, you could still die in 1500 despite not being born until 1990 or whatever.

I believe in spacetime. It sounds cool, it's easy to prove, and I think it makes the most sense.
