It has to be my favourite out of the seven.
What do you all think about it? |

So yes I have much love for this book My favorites are Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Pheonix, and The Deathly Hallows though |

| October 22nd, 2007 at 12:07am I recently re-read this book after finishing DH.
It's so adorable. Especially since now we know what happens at the end of all of this. And you see them first meet. I was like "Omg! They don't know it yet..but.. They're gonna get married and have babies."

| October 22nd, 2007 at 04:38pm I loved it, tbh. When my brother first got it from amazon I was like "meh whatever". But in the fourth/fifth grade I really got into it. And I loved it so much. It was...it was magical, no pun intended. I read it over and over again for hours, HP1. |

Me neither. :/
It might be the equivalent of 'Philosopher' (sort of), but they shouldn't be able to change the name of the book! It doesn't make any sense to me. |

| October 23rd, 2007 at 04:02pm Um...k. Let me clear this up: The Philosopher's Stone, in the original legends, also goes by the name of the Sorcerer's Stone. Nicolas Flamel and all that were real.
But the Scholastic people thought that more people would pick it up if it were called "Sorcerer's Stone". Because many Americans are ignorant gits. *is from NJ* but yeah. So its not like they're being total assholes and changing the whole damn legend. |

Philosopher and sorcerer are two different things... In the US.. we don't call someone with their major in philosophe a sorcerer... we call them a philosopher... so who knows.
