can someone please tell me why i have a battery in my cruiser bass? its there... but i dont know why!!!

You have active pick-ups i guess.
Meaning that your pick-ups have to have a seperate power supply. Whereas passive pick-ups don't need power.

I think active pick-ups can sounds quite band if you don't play them through the right amps. Confused . I prefer passive anyway.

made by crafter i think. My teacher has them in the shop, the necks don't look long enough on them...maybe that's just me.

The strings reach right the way to the bottom of the body and the head is quite small, making it look shorter than other basses. THis must have been years ago that I wrote this topic... I'm a little wiser now Wink

i agree

passive owns active.

you could probably just put new pickups in ur bass and then u wouldn't need the battery
