I am not sure if this is the right section to put this...but I thought that it was...soo..

Tics are rapid movements or sounds that are repeated over and over for no reason. A person with a tic can't control the movement or sounds. Throat clearing and eye blinking are common tics. Tics are often worse when a person feels stressed, tired or anxious. Some medicines can make tics worse.

That I found on a website to describe tics.
But does anyone have Tic Syndrome,
Or know someone who does?

I do.
And I hate it,
And I just thought it'd be nice to talk to someone else who has it.

What do you think cause's it,
What makes it the worse,
When does yours act up the most,
What is your tick?
You know...

Isn't it a form of OCD??
(I'm most likely wrong)...

It is in the sense that sometimes people use body 'Tics' in conjunction with their everyday 'rituals'.

With my OCD I used to have a eye tic, I luckily grew out of that one.

Well,
I don't have OCD, or haven't be diag. with such a thing.
I just tic.
I don't always realize I am doing it.
But then there are times that I have like...a tic fit,
And if I try an hold them back...it doesn't work.
And is badd.

In Tourette's tics manifest themselves as obsessive compulsive. They are uncontrollable (obv), and have to be carried through.
So although they are different disorders they do overlap in some sense.
I believe.

What kind of tics are you talking about?

Like, tics.
...uhm...I don't know how to describe them,
Mine are this huffing I do,
And I jerk my head and pop my jaw,
But I huff the most.

One of my friends has this tic.
It's mostly when she has to stand infront of the whole class and say something, or if she's just generally very nervous or thinking hard.
She does something with her head, idk.. like, pushes it forward or.. idk. You don't notice it unless you know about it, though.

Stress is said to bring out tics.

My mom and I both get tics in our eye when we're stressed. Mine come around finals at school, so it doesn't affect me in any way, but my mom gets tics almost every month. It's scary sometimes because my lower lid will start moving and I have to find a way to calm myself down.

I have horrible tics these days. One is with my nose, I just move it around, idk.
I also tend to clench my jaw really hard while I'm sleeping, or concentrating. It's really bad for my teeth, but I'm not sure how to stop doing that.

I'm taking relaxation class, at the moment. maybe it will help. But it has a stress factor (we have to keep up a journal, and I just know I'll forget, and get told off.) which is totally ridiculous. So I'm not exactly sure what good it's going to do, really.

And I pop my knuckles. I dunno if that's tics but yeah... I can't stop.
