Tacoma, WA Tacoma Dome, September 25th, 2005

Okay, Green Day concert, Tacoma Dome, September 26th 2005. First of all it had to be the freaking best experience of my life, because firstly they were completely awesome, and secondly because I was in the front row. Not to mention I managed to sneak in a camera (which I used to to take many good photos of Green Day, which I plan to scan and copy for all of my friends). My cousins friend, Chris (I think), shoved it down the front of his pants in order to sneak it in. It was absolutly hilarious, how he was complaining about how it felt, oh my God I still crack up.

Okay anyways, first off I think that you should know just a little bit about the band that played before them. To start off it was Jimmy Eat World, as if you didn't already know. Well, anyways, they were about 30 times louder than Green Day was, so loud in fact I thought that I was going to start hypervenalating from the tight feeling I had in my chest from the bass. I am not all that big of a Jimmy Eat World fan, so I really can't name any songs that they played while at the concert. However, I do know all of the names, and words, to all of the Green Day songs played there (because I am obsessive like that).

Okay so Green Day gets on stage (really not that exciting, but at the same time encredibly exciting because JEW got off stage). Then they began with American Idiot, going to Jesus of Suburbia, all played well (Billie Joe's vocals were really good in concert, and they never missed a beat). Next was Holiday, and I thought I was going to die because I don't exactly fancy the American Idiot album all that much when Billie Joe began to talk about the first time he went to Washington, and how they were a band for 17 years.

He mentioned going to a town called Longview, and liking it so much that they named a song after them. So ha all of you fuckers who thought that it was Texas or some other dumb ass state, it was Washington, where I was born and raised. Then again if you think about it, Longview is about being so bored that all you do is masterbate all the time. Which pretty much defines Washington in general. Well then he went on to talk about how he saw some girl and Kurt Cobain, in Olimpia 15 years ago (this would make Kurt 23 and Billie Joe 18). The crowd went wild at the mention of his name, then he dedicated Longview to them. They then proceeded to play Basket Case, and I was satisfied by this because I liked their older stuff.

Billie Joe then questioned how many old time Green Day fans there were, I of course screamed my fucking head off. He then started to play (along with the rest of the band) 2,000 Light Years Away. They went on to play (I don't remember the order all I can really remember is the sight of Billie Joe masterbating and moaning whilst screaming "Somebody Fuck Me!" really loud then talking about how it was "time to get naked") King For A Day, We Are The Waiting (or Are We The Waiting or The Waiting, I don't really like American Idiot), We Are The Champions, Knowledge, Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life), Minority, St. Jimmy, and Maria.

Over all it was the best fucking show I've ever seen in my life, Billie Joe was great, I couldn't see Tre but he was awesome when he preformed 'All By Myself' I wanted him to play 'Dominated Love Slave' or 'Like a Rat Does Cheese' but oh well, and Mike knew just how to warm up the crowd. Also Jason was in on the action wearing a large pirate hat when they were playing King For A Day. Every one was great and I had the time of my life, and the pictures came out really awesome.
