Fresno, CA Save Mart Center, September 30th, 2005
First off, Jimmy Eat World played, but nothing they did could compare of what Green Day did. At first, the two small screens said: "If you love Green Day, show the pink bunny some love!", for like 5 min.
Then this dude in a pink bunny suit came out and had a beer bottle and started chugging it. He wobbled toward the walk way, almost falling. He finished his beer, and threw it into the crowd.
I don't know how, but after he finished the beer, he got a new one (no one knows where he got it). But he fell in the walk way, he tried to get up, and he faced us (still bending over) and shook his butt! He finally got up and hopped up one more time, and right when he landed they played "Y.M.C.A", it was so funny, cause he couldn't do the letters without almost falling.
Everyone joined into the song and did the letters. He got off stage, he got us motivated. Then all the lights turned off, and they played "Space Odesey" and all of us were getting pumped up.
Green Day opened up with "American Idiot", then "Jesus of Suburbia", then "Holiday". After that they played "King For a Day" and Billie Joe did a masterbation scene, and made moaning noises, then yelled: "Someone f*** me!", as soon as he said that, all the girls, including me and my friend started screaming.
Then he said: "Now melting", like 5 times, and all the people on stage (the band), stopped playing and slowly started to fall on the floor. Billie Joe started to hump the floor and whispered into the mic: "A little bit softer" like 3 times. Then this dude got ion stage (he worked at the place) and put hats on them and a robe over Billie's back.
So when Billie Joe turned over and put his right leg up, it looked like a massive boner! Hahaha! Then he got up and mooned us. Then they played some old songs and they got us to say "Heyyy Ohhh" like tons of times. Then a "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!" with our right fists thrown up in the air. Amazing!
Also, he said: "OK, now I wanna see a big wave, starting there," he pointed to the left. Since everyone joined in the wave, it was an awesome sight. Tre got to sing his song, finally. Billie Joe picked a kid (around 10) to spay the crowd with water! (He's sooo lucky!) Ater that, he picked 3 people to make a band from the crowd (a guitar, bass, and drummer).
The drummer (a guy) kicked ass, the bass (a girl) player did, too. But when Billie Joe picked the guitar player, he picked the same kid he got to spray water. Before he got on stage Biliie Joe said: "Have you ever been laid?" The kid said: "No." then Billie Joe said: "Well your gonna get fucked tonight!" So the kid got up on stage, he sucked so Billie Joe picked a new person.
He picked a guy and when the guitar palyer got up, he ran to Billie Joe and kissed him on the lips! So hot. So Billie Joe hugged him like 3 times. So when it was done he had the drummer stage dive! (LUCKY!!!) So they had a couple of jokes and stuff.
The the lights went out, after they played "Minority" with us throwing our fists out, and he said that was their last song. The big screen said "Green... Day... Green... Day". After that second time all of us started chanting what it said til it said "Green... Day... Green Day... Green Day..." over and over again.
They broke out with fire and sang "Whatsername". Then Billie Joe kept saying: "You make me wanna!" then he yelled "SHOUT!" so they played the song "Shout!" and we sang along.
At the end of the song more fire came out! So then they played "Wake Me Up When September Ends", all the lights were out and peoples lighters and cell phones were waving letf to right. It made me cry a little. Then they broke out with "We are the Champions" by Queen.
The word to the part "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS... WE'LL KEEP FIGHTING 'TIL THE END....WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS..WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, OF THE WORLD," those words showed on the big screen. At the end of the song red and white confetti was busted out everywhere.
Like at every song Billie would say: "Let's show them Fresno" and we'd wave our hands or throw our fists. Or he would say: "Yeah, Fresno!" But then the concert was over. Also that was the best concer EVER! Nothing can top what happened last night! It was OFF THE HOOK! Also I touched their tour bus!!! So if you never been to a Green Day concert.... Get your ass to one, YOU WONT REGRET IT!
