Carson, CA Home Depot Center, October 7th, 2005

The concert at the Home Depot center was awesome. I had to wait in traffic for two hours before I could enter the gates.

When I arrived, I saw Jimmy Eat World playing some songs. The only song I know was "The Middle". After they played, the crowd waited for about thirty minutes before the show started.

There was a screen that you could post some text messaging on it. So I typed some S*** in there and after a while, I noticed is that one of my messages ended up on the screen.

The message said 'DEE dee dee' from Carlos Mencia (If anyone that saw the concert there). When the concert began, I saw a person in a bunny costume drinking beer, and throwing some stuffed bunnies to the crowd dancing to the Y.M.C.A. beat (My money is that Billie Joe or Tre` was in that costume).

When Green Day showed up, the crowd went wild. Here are the songs I remembered they played. I forgot some songs but this is all I can remember:

1. American Idiot
2. Jesus of Suburbia
3. Are We the Waiting?
4. St. Jimmy
5. Holiday
6. Maria
7. Brain Stew/Jaded
8. Longview
9. 2000 Light Years Away
10. She (I think)
11. Hitchin’ a Ride
12. Basket Case

Encore:

13. Boulevard of Broken Dreams
14. Wake Me Up When September Ends
15. We Are The Champions
16. Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)

During the show, Billie Joe stopped the concert to yell at some people that were fighting. He yelled at them saying to stop F***in fighting and shake hands you F***ers. The crowd clapped at Billie Joe and resumed.

Billie Joe was jerkin’ off on stage with his hand in his pants during a song, which I do not remember (seriously). That was a bit weird when he did that, but the girls in the crowd were yelling and screaming at him.

There was a time when he called a kid to spray water at the people at the floor, and when he called some people up to the stage to be part of the band. Billie Joe called up a kid to play the guitar but he was too short to hold the guitar, so they called this 40-year-old dude to play and after that, Billie Joe gave the guitar to the kid. In addition, the guest drummer did a stage dive onto the crowd.

After the show, there was a kind of a product toss from Verizon Wireless giving away Green Day Key chains, posters, and CD's from some band. The show was awesome at the end when there was confetti all over the place. If you have the opportunity to go to a Green Day Concert and have the money to go, GO TO THE CONCERT! It's worth it ;)
