Melbourne Telstra Dome, Melbourne, Australia, December 16th, 2005

The Melbourne concert was fantastic. Any one who cam expecting a replay of the bands new DVD/CD combo would have been disapointed. With a jam packed show of old and new it was not to be missed.

With over 35,000 screaming fans directing all attention to the 3 punk princes how could it not be a success. My Chemical Romance left an awesome impression and started off the excited atmosphere.

They played songs off there latest album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge". Jimmy Eat World followed shortly after and played a mix of old and new songs. There two bands got the crowd pumping by thanking Green Day for having them on this tour.

After the long wait especially for the die hard fans in the idiot and general zones Green Day emerged as energetic as they were on there first show for the American Idiot. Melbourne has the honour of experiencing the very last show for Green Days American Idiot Tour for 2005.

The crowd experienced majority of the latest album with a variety of old songs throughout the show. The highly superiour light display really showed that it was one of the best stadium shows on earth.

Multi coloured lights and the large flames lit up the band as the ran rapid all over the stage doing what they do best. One highlight for any The Living End fan was when the band presented lead singer Chris Chaney and played a The Clash cover which really hit the spot for the fans.

All night the crowd was jumping for there favourite band as they were enjoying every minute of it. The night ended with a spectacular array of confetti which was personalised with Green Day written on one kind and the heart grenade on the other and a mixture of fireworks which lit up Melbourne's skyline.

The night was a huge success with no major injures just a lot of power, dedication and excitement.
