The Used - Lies For The Liars

So, I took a break from listening to The Used for awhile, then I found out apparently they made a new album called Lies For The Liars. It's a pretty good album except the constant slow stupid songs. So I suppose I should start with the song ratings now...

1. The Ripper - If you listen to this song, and you don't like it, you got off on a wrong foot on the album. Personally, I think the song is pretty good. But I don't think it really sounds like any of the other songs on the album. The song has pretty good guitar. The singing is mediocre though. Not one of their best though. Good way to start off the album though. 4/5

2. Pretty Handsome Awkward - I loved this song ever since it was on Berth. The song reminds me of their older songs and it's very addicting. I can't listen to it once, I have to at least listen to it twice to enjoy it fully. Definatly one of their better songs. 5/5

3. The Bird And The Worm - This song is definatly one of the best on the CD. They use a couple instruments and sounds in the background which makes it have a strange feel. I really like this song though because it has pretty good meaning to it. 5/5

4. Earthquake - To me, this song really sounds like older songs. It's a pretty good song, but not a song I'd listen to by will. Somehow this song kind of makes me sad, but it also gives me a smile, just by the way it sounds. It's a good song I guess, not a favorite though. 3/5

5. Hospital - One of my favorite songs on the album not doubt. It gets stuck in my head, but I love it. A song I'd definatly go to if I'm in the mood. This song is basically easy to sing a long to because he sings so clearly in it. That's one of the reasons I like it so much. This is where the album gets it's name from if you listen. 5/5

6. Paralyzed - Hell yeah, my favorite. A great beginning, chorus, and ending. Overall an outstanding song which is bound to get you to in it's hypnotism of it's singing. The song always gets my dancing and singing along. 6556436/5

7. With Me Tonight - The song is alright I guess. Kind of a slow song though. It basically starts with this song where the really sucky songs start. Oh well, I don't really like it. 2/5

8. Wake The Dead - Once again, not a very good song. It starts off pretty good, but to me it just gets worse. Some parts of it I like, but others make me want to turn it off. 3/5

9. Find A Way - Hahahahafuckingslowsongssuck. I don't like it. I hate it. Completly. It makes me hate the album a little more inside. Oh wait, now it just got to a louder part instead a little girly Bert voice. It still sucks though. 0/5

10. Liar, Liar (Burn In Hell) - YES! The song is awesome. It features "Liar Liar Pants on Fire" with a couple differently lyrics to make it have more of a spark to it. I just want to yell along to the song. It's really catchy and awesome. Just a small gap between the crappy songs. What a great gap though! 5/5

11. Smother Me - I don't like it. It's yet another slow song, but even worse than Find A Way. It sucks. The lyrics make me want to throw up with how damn cheesy they are. Sounds like All-American Rejects sometimes to me. Except worse. 0/5

THE SONGS BELOW ARE BONUS TRACKS ONLY ON SOME EDITIONS. DON'T FREAK OUT IF YOU CAN'T FIND THEM ON YOUR ALBUM!!!

Tunnel - Even though it's slow, I like it. It's kinda sad though. It reminds me of those slow songs at school dances that no one ever heard. 4/5

Slit Your Own Throat - One of the best songs on the album. The best bonus track definatly. I like the screaming in this song. And the instruments. And the basic vocals. So I love the song 5/5

Sleepwalking - I'm not sure if this was a bonus track or not. I can't seem to find any information about this song anywhere, but it's The Used, and it's not from any other album. It's a really good song though. Give it a listen if you can find it. 4/5

Devil Beside You - Another catchy song. It's really good. Probably my second favorite bonus track. There's at least not really any screaming in it, which actually bring's out the better side of Bert's voice. 5/5

Dark Days - This song is really good. It's guitar and drumming is outstanding, along with the vocals. This song is a great song which shouldn't have been a bonus track I think it would've fit the album well. 4/5

Overall a good album. The album from me gets the rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Probably one of the better albums from The Used, and I love it! Don't have? Go out and buy it!
