I'm sick of it.
Emo. I'm sick of it. Since around 2004 there has been the whole emo subculture thing going on, and, to be quite frank, I'm sick of it now.
I don't care about labels. Because labels are a part of life. But I'm sick of people being called emo because they show a sign of emotion. Because they wear black, because they have the side fringe or wear eyeliner. Because they have a MySpace and take photos of themselves.
I'm over the emo. I want everything to go back to how it was before every new band out that wore eyeliner was classed as emo by the media. I want it to go back to before the media thought the "evil" subculture emo was responsible for teenage suicides.
I want emo to be just a type of music again and stop being a trend.

anyway..yeah i totally agree i get called emo and i just go..O.o
im not emo or anything in the least. if you are yourself then thats all that matters.

Someone grabbed my wrist the other day and was like "Are you Emo?" and I was like "oh my god piss off"

Soon there'll be a new group of people who look and dress a certain way and then the media will becomeobsessed with them and everyone will forget about Emo. So don't worry.
