Boys and Girls.

Girls and boys, women and men - no matter how old they are - both genders act and react differently. Especially in converstaions you can see that the same words mean different things depending on who says it.

You often hear comedians make jokes about how difficult it is for men to understand women. And indeed it often is. Men are straight away. They mean what they say, they say what they mean.
Women though don't neccessarily mean what they say.

When a girl says she's fine it doesn't necessarily mean that she really is. Or when something's wrong they won't admit it. I want to explain.

Guy: What's wrong?
Girl: nothing

Nothing can mean three different things depending on how it is said.

1. If nothing is said straight away, with a questioning face and being added by something like Why should be something wrong? or anything like that then it's usually an honest nothing.

2. If nothing is said really quickly and the girl is quickly looking at her shoes or away, then she's trying to avoid the question because something is wrong.

3. This is the evil one that many girls/women use probably unintentionally. First there is a break, silence, no answer. Then she whispers nothing and looks down or away. This is the dangerous one. It's saying Of course something is wrong. Why don't you see it? Often it is also added with a fake smile.

This was just one example. There are plenty more. I can only imagine how hard it must be for guys to get us girls at times.
Why do we have to make it so damn hard for them?
Well it's how we are. It's part of the excitement.
I tried not acting like that, but it barely works. It's kinda natural; I can't change it.
