Labels.
Labels are stupid.
If you see someone with a mohawk and wearing unusual clothes you're automatically going to call them a punk.
If you see a guy in girl's jeans and wearing guyliner/manscara, you're going to call him emo.
If you see someone wearing bright,colorful clothes you're going to call them a prep.
If someone's doesn't fit into the same "label" a person fits in,that person usually doesn't like that other person.Labels prevent people from being friends with the people they want to be friends with; Labels also cause bullying.But what if there were no labels? Wouldn't we all get along a little bit better?
And if someone doesn't belong to a certain label and/or is a mixture of 2 labels,that doesn't mean they're a poser;that just makes them unique.I'm getting tired of being called a poser because I don't fit into a certain label when labels shouldn't be used to judge a person in the first place.
I think we should do something to stop it.

Well...I agree...but labels don't bother me at all. I couldn't care less....
I have been called pretty much everything you can be called....a punk for liking Green Day, a jock for playing soccer, a poser for going out with Colin, emo for liking My Chemical Romance, a stoner for liking the Misfits....
And I don't really care. They can take their "Insults" and shove them up it.

I agree with wasted youth Irish Punk, I am a fellow punk and have labeled people by what they look like and by what they wear.
No one is an individual because you belong to some group somewhere.

Labels are needed in the world.
Id rather label myself a punk, then have someone else do it for me.

Labels don't bother me very much.
They shouldn't bother you either.
They've been around for so long, and complaining about them isn't going expunge them from our society.
Like I've said in the past, we NEED labels. Or we wouldn't be able to classify one person for antoher.
Now, descriminating or judging someone from a certain label...that's bad. Labels in general, aren't.

I honestly don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with labels and insists on making blog after blog after blog about them. I'm begining to think we need a labels catagory in the blogs. Yes they are stupid but going on about them all the time isn't solving it.
