I <3 the Internet. But I hate New York.
Yes, I really do. I love the internet. Loser much? I think so. But guess what else? I don't care.
When I don't hang out with my friends or have a sport or piano after school, I drop my backpack and immediately flee to the basement, where my oh-so loved computer resides. Then I sign onto AIM and check my MySpace. On MySpace I read my comments and messages and reply to them, read bulletins and sometimes do those awfully addictive surveys, when I have time.
Following that I read blogs on this very site, and sometimes write one of my own. I smile when I'm reading one about good things. I squint my eyes and ponder the issue at hand whilst reading one that makes me think. I frown when I read a sad one. There's hardly a blog I don't enjoy, except the ones that belong in the Blahs.
Then I go on Neopets! Silly, right? I think not! I love Neopets! I'm currently rying to reach my goal of one million Neopoints. I'm almost 4/5 of the way there </loser> But I also talk to people there. Sometimes about music, about life, about love, about all things not related to Neopets itself, basically, which is the only thing you're supposed to talk about. I also have tons of fun shutting down the narrow minded idiots that happen to congregate there.
I take quizzes now and then, stupid, pointless, and generally hilarious ones like "How are YOU going to die?" (by the way, it's because I stepped on the gas instead of the brakes, in case you wanted to know), "Which Simpsons character are you most like?" and "Which guy is right for you?" These are entertaining because they're mostly way off the truth and totally random.
AIM:
I'm ALWAYS on AIM when I'm on the computer, because it's so much less awkward to talk to people about serious things when you're not face-to-face. It's not always good enough because you can't express things through voice or action, but for all extensive purposes, it's fine.
Music:
It's so so so easy to access through the internet! Not neccesarily download, because that's illegal (although I'm guilty of using LimeWire for somethings), but just to listen to. For example I just discovered Project Playlist, where you can make a playlist online that you can listen to at any time on the comp. and they have most songs, and you can make as many playlists as you want.
Just for fun, here's my playlist:
Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't- Brand New
Bowl of Oranges- Bright Eyes
Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings)- AFI
Believer- Kill Hannah
Sound Effects and Overdramatics- the Used
Shame Shame- From First to Last
Unholy Confessions- Avenged Sevenfold
Your Call- Secondhand Serenade
The Webs We Weave- Escape the Fate
Ex's and Oh's- Atreyu
All Nereids Beware- Chiodos
You, Me, and My Medication- Boys Like Girls
My Last Breath- Evanescence
Eleanor Rigby- the Beatles
The Sharpest Lives- My Chemical Romance
Perfect Situation- Weezer
Smashed into Pieces- Silverstein
London Calling- the Clash
Madame Guillotine- from the soundtrack of the Broadway production, the Scarlet Pimpernel
Basically, even though I don't spend all my waking hours on it because I have many, many other priorities, I love the internet for it's access to everything of every kind.
How about you?
Oh, and the New York thing was just me being random, although I really do hate New York City. I live right across from it, and it's way too crowded and smells of hobo piss.

I was in NYC just like, a month ago. I loved it so much. It was everything I had figured it to be. And maybe I was just lucky, but the people there were really nice.
I loved NYC.
But I guess it's not for everyone.

I've never been to NYC but I want to go before I die. Just to say I had been outside of my crackerbox of a hometown.

Hmm, that's cool.
Although that was really just me being random, even though I'm not a big fan, not really the point of the blog.
