Why the hell did she have to be so stupid?! I'm angry, and sad at the same time. Even though I hardly knew her, and went to different schools that were only 30 minutes away, I feel like I've known her all my life. She was also one of my competers in softball...I just can't believe it.
Why did she have to do that?! Why be so stupid? Why doesn't anyone discourage it?! GODDAMNIT! I can't take this anymore.
And to top it all off, My parents are going on a train to New York tonight and I'm freaking crying about it...I'm afraid of trains now. I just...Gah.

That's so awful. I'm really sorry. Those kind of deaths are plain freak accidents, how terrible must it be for a twelve-year-old to go through that? And her friends, including you... even though you might not have known her very well, just the fact that someone who you knew had died is difficult. Doesn't make it any less painful or real. It shows how delicate life really is and how close to home it can really be, it's terrifying and cruel.
