Photography II
This feeling of being able to catch a moment, to catch what you see is something that always fascinated people. It all started with painting on walls in caves. They emerged to huge paintings but still it wasn't as real as the images the people saw with their eyes. As inventions became more and more complex people found a way to capture an image closer to reality: they invented a camera.
First it needed ages to take a photo. But soon they developped it further and now people all over the world take photos of all kinds of things. This invention gave us the possibility to capture moments forever and they allowed us to be creative.
We don't just use photos to capture moments, memories anymore. Photography turned into real art that I just recently discovered for myself when I bought a camera. I take my camera with me everywhere and whenever I get a chance I take photos.

I love to take photos of nature. I knee down in the grass and try all kind of weird positions. I spend hours just sitting in one place taking photos of butterflies, hoping to get the perfect shot.

And I love to play with atmosphere. A romantic atmosphere is something that makes everyone who looks at your photo feel warm inside. When I take photos I want people to smile. I want them to feel comfortable. I want them to feel the warmth I felt when taking the photo.

I also love taking photos of myself. I love to have the chance to illustrate myself the way I want it. It's like people who put alot of make-up on. What helps me is not make-up, it's photo editing programs. Photoshop.
Real beauty comes from your inside - yes I do believe in that. And it is true. I live for that. Nevertheless people also want to be beautiful on the outside. No one can deny that. I like to look pretty too.

And it's so much fun to play a little with the camera, to feel special for a moment. The picure I just posted is the first time that I actually went outside with a friend to take photos of myself. To not just try to get a picture of you in the mirror.
With programs such as Photoshop you can turn rather boring pictures into exciting ones.

I think nowadays we have so many possibilities to play with photos, to change them the way we like it. To experiment. To show what we want people to see. It is exciting, yet dangerous.
Nevertheless, I think taking photos is an amazing hobby, no matter what kind of photographs you take: portraits or people or youself, images of nature or city, photos at day or at night - it all has its own excitement. Photography is exciting because you never know what you get in the end. I am grateful for the invention of the camera.

thank you <33
it's kinda hard for blogs to be noticed right now with all those people talking about the censoring. I wonder how many blogs about that will follow.

Same kinda great blog as your other one on photographs without the horrile feeling in the pit of my stomach =). You really do a great job on your blogs.

I'm actually kinda insecure about my writing
Thank you so much!

This is why I think that you write better Blogs than I do. You have such a way of writing things that is really cool. You take time on finding just the right words for something. I could do that if I wanted, but with Blogs I'm always on such a "spur of the moment" I don't take the time to write things as creatively and beautifully as you do.
And they're amazing pictures. It's cool to see people on this site who like things like Photography, which you wouldn't expect on a Green Day site. Keep up the great work on the pics! They're really cool!
