Life. It happens. Dads leave.
Hello. The same problems here at my house are still going on. But something new has came up. I haven't seen my dad in 6 days and there is no way to get in contact with him.
Oh well I guess. It makes me a bit nervous though. He took his check,$84,and didn't give us anything. We have like $300 of bills to pay. Luckily my brother gives my mom money for helping him out with work.
Right now my dad is either gambling or at his girlfriend's house using our bank debit card for food. We needed this years bank statements for something and it turns out hes been addnig and using money that we didn't know about.
I'm trying to get my mom to changed the locks. We might cut off his cell phone also. This may sound wrong but we've had him living here only so we can pay bills. He said if he moves out he's only giving what the judge says. He said he'll get the rent from our old house,which by law my brother owns.
My dad lies quite a bit. He says he hasn't said something he cleary did and he always tries to get back at us about something in the past. All he does is pretty much insult my mother and use us for room and board while he works during the week.
But were not getting any money this week. Pay checks come out on thursday at his job. Hes with his boss gambling or whatever. I might call Dave,his boss, and ask where they are though.
I don't know what else to say except that my dad needs to grow up and stop acting like a child about things and playing games.

My brother isn't all the great of a brother.
He's pissed off and we haven't heard from him for a good 7 months.
He's left my mum to pay his bills that he couldn't pay, and when my dad eventually gets in contact with him [they hate each other so much] he's going to sue. ._.
I can't pipe up about my opinion on it because then dad will go off at me. ._.
Then that never ends well for me. Mum doesn't try to get involved when it's me and dad. ._.
But either way, you could maybe get a part time job to help out a bit?

My Dad left me last year to go to Canberra and start a new family with my stepmum and 2 little brothers.
He cheated on my mum when I was 2, and then they divorced.
He's just a dissapointment in general.

I really know how this can be. My Dad sounds exactly like that. I would go for like...a month and a half with out seeing him, and that went on for at least 6 or 7 years. He eventually got better when he lost his job, came back home and saw all that he was missing, but for those 6-7 years, he was exactly like your Dad is now.
So, I guess I have two points to this, 1. That Dads usually come to terms with things and realize what the f*ck they are doing, and 2. If you need some support in this, I'm here.

I know how you feel. My dads an alcoholic. But we don't see him anymore (which is good) and now he's going to go marry some baptist chick at the end of the year.
