Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan

I just have this to say:

Why does everyone feel the need to insult them? They got f*cked up- they let fame get to them- yeah. But they're still people, and they're still in trouble.

Look at Britney first:
She had this MEGA pop career. She was this HUGE sensation. Whether you like her or not, you can't deny that much. Fame got to her, and she got REALLY messed up. I mean, shaving her head, being out partying, having her kids?

She's made mistakes. I know she has. Especially when she drove with her son on her lap that time. But you all have to remember- she's STILL young. I don't even think she's out of her 20s yet. She's going to make mistakes. She's been in the limelight since she was a kid. She never DID get to properly grow up. Not to mention the fact that having the paparazzi stalking you 24/7 would cause ANYONE to make rash decisions like that.

Britney COULD have had it all. And now with her comeback album coming out, I hope she gets back what she used to have. I don't have to like her music to hope for that. I think she's been through alot, and she deserves a comeback. She deserves the chance to make herself right again. To get back her sanity and everything else. To prove everyone wrong.

And as far as Lindsay Lohan goes... she also didn't get a chance to grow up normally. She's also been in the limelight since she was just a little girl. Add in the family drama- making the wrong friends- just generally making mistakes and she was in for a trainwreck.

Lindsay IS a talented actress, like her or not. She also deserves to be able to get better without having people go "Oh, what a druggie whore." and blah blah blah. You don't hear that said about normal people with the same problems she has. If she keeps going in the direction she was- she's going to wind up like Anna Nicole- dead. Same goes for Britney. NO ONE deserves that.

Even if you don't like them or don't agree with them, they're STILL people, and they may be messed up, but they don't deserve to be. I hope they both pull through what's going on with them and get their lives and careers back together. It's sad to think of what they had, who the used to be, and where they are now. So I'm rooting for the both of them.

What alot of people don't realize is that is IS stressful being a celebrity. People think that they have it SO easy, but they don't. Can you imagine being chased by someone with a camera 24/7? Can you imagine not being able to scratch an itch without having it photographed? That IS stressful. That ISNT easy. They have people on their ass constantly, and they have paparazzi chasing them around more than that. It stresses them out. Burns them out. Not only that, but drugs and alcohol are easier to access for them than they are to even teenagers. They get so stressed out that they turn to these things, and it's just so easy for them to get completely fucked up and for their lives to spiral completely out of control. No one deserves that. They deserve to get better, they deserve to make it, they deserve to get back what they lost. I wish Lindsay and Britney the best of luck.

Also- if you're going to get on Lindsay for driving drunk- remember that Billie Joe got a DUI in 2003. And if you're going to get on Britney for driving with her kid on her lap- remember that at one point, Billie Joe completely up and left Adie and the kids, moved to New York, and spent 2 weeks doing nothing but drinking himself into a moronic stupor. Not exactly great parenting on his behalf there, eh?

So what I'm trying to say is that- look how Billie Joe turned out. He's an AMAZING person now. He works with so many charities and causes, he tries to help the world, and all that stuff. So maybe in a few years, Britney and Lindsay can wind up the same way. Having their lives back together, and proving themselves to be good, if not great, people.

Flame me away.
