Hospitals do indeed suck. I agree with the girl who posted a blog like this.
I don't like hospitals unless they help people. True I was born in one but my twin died there also. My dads friend died in 5th grade after fighting cancer and beating it but he went into remission. He ended up in a vegetable state. It was horrible. Often for hours at a time I'd go sit in his room sometimes I'd stare out the window or watch him and his lifeless body lay in the bed. He moved none and made no noise. The only thing keeping him a live was machines not his own body. His body had no will to keep going. He knew his time was coming. He said this a week before he died. His children finally decided to unplug the machines. My dad was present at the time.
Feburary,2006. My mother was in the hospital having surgery done. Sinus surgery. Something happened. She wasin the hospital for 3-4 days unconsicous...Her heart stopped beating several times while she was there. She eventaully woke up trying to figure out why it was now march not feburary. She thought it aws teh same day. We had to tell he what hapened. It was horrible explaining...

i hate hospitals too. the one in my town does NOTHING!! i broke my arm and spent five hours in the emergency room, then it took about three weeks before they could decide to put a cast on >_< it was ouchy!
my father is a doctor at a hospital about four hours away and its horrible. i see him about once a month, if that. mum and dad arent divorced, but they don't live together, and get stressed everytime they see each other. dad has depression and so stays on two properties, both about three hours away from the rest of us, because he likes to be alone and cant handle the stress. i was diagnosed with severe depression which made him more stressed, then my oldest brother was aswell, which was even worse! and when he's at work he's always so tired and angry cuz he has all the drug addicts and aggressive drunks and hypochondriacs and 'slashers' as he calls the self-abusive.
when he found out i cut myself he wouldn't talk to me. still cant look me in the eye.
i asked him about it and he said its because of the stress of his work. i dont know whether to believe him or not.
hospitals aren't always good for the families of those who work there either.

That's so sad...though I never been to a furerul...(however you spell that)...when I see the pictures, it makes me think about all the people going through the things many people are already going through...fighting to stay alive. Many people face unusual events inside hospitals, like your mother. Many of the same surgeries are done in a year, and all of a sudden...disaster strikes...Good thing your mother is allright...LNR (Live Not Regret)

hospitals can sometimes be a good thing, they do help people survive things that they wouldnt have survived without hospitals. you gotta look at the good side too
