Okay let me start by saying this is my first blog. Woot. Or something.
Anywho, I'm gonna talk about this girl I know. For the sake of my rant, we'll call the older one Jessie and the younger one Gabby. (not actual names)
Okay. I was looking at Jessie's myspace pictures, and I was disturbed to find that she's part of this thing (no clue what it is) called Kaotic. And I don't know what they do, maybe it's a modeling business...? I don't know. She has these pictures of her just acting as raunchy and dirty as you can with another woman without taking any clothes off, or flashing any private parts. It sickens me that she acts like that. She's setting the WORST example for her little sister, Gabby, who can be pretty nice, and tries to be her best, but is a highly confused adolescent.
It's so annoying that she's showing shit like that, letting her little sister have acess to that crap. I mean, what is she thinking? Does she want her little sister to see her acting like life's a big whore house, be as dirty as you want? Because Gabby already dresses raunchy, and she's pretty chubby, so it's really not appealing. Plus, it seems to say that she sees how her sister acts and she thinks she could be similar or the same. I don't like that crap.
They, being Jessie and Gabby, have a screwed up family life as well. I think that's no excuse for Jessie to act how she does. None at all. Their dad is a really awesome guy, he's really good friend with my dad, and I've known him longer than them. He is willing to help, and willing to make things work. But Jessie was inconsiderate of him. She lived with him ocasionally, then she decided to move out. She only lived with him because her car was broken, and she didn't have a way of hauling her stuff to her mom's.
Let me tell you about their mom. She's borderline crazy. Honestly. I'm not exaggerating. She truly is. She would always come to Jessie's and Gabby's dad's house (let's call him John) and she knew how he disliked the fact that she was around. She would stay there whenever she dropped Jessie and Gabby off, and strike up a conversation with someone, just because she wanted to delay leaving. She gives Jessie and Gabby shitloads of money, because she doesn't work, but she's getting a LOT of money from John, because he got an AWFUL divorce settlement. So now he's paying her a lot. And she doesn't do jackshit. Except give it to the kids, as if to say "Here, take 100 dollars and love me again"
So basically, they love her because she gives them lots of money. And they "don't really care for" their dad because they're fucking ignorant as hell.
In this case, I think ignorance is bliss. But not in a good way. They need to realize that they're wrong, that life isn't about money. Hopefully that day will come.
