A Taste of Your Own Medicine.
It's come to my attention that some of the people in my school like to make fun of other people for how they look or their disabilities. It happens everywhere. So why does it happen?
My best guess on why this happens is their own insecurities. They have to make themselves feel bigger so when they make fun of other people, they look like hot shots. In my eyes, they're just making idiots of themselves. They're so insecure with how they look or if they're popular or not that they just have to do this. They don't know that this leads to people being depressed, suicidal, self-conscience, or nervous.
Let's say the person being made fun of kills them self. Now if you were the one making fun of them, how would you feel? You'd regret everything you'd said to the person, but would you let that show in front of your friends? Probably not. You'd act like it was no big deal and like that person had major issues. But deep inside, you'd know those issues were caused because of you. Some people don't even have a bad conscience. They simply do it to make fun of people, and when the person ends their life, they could care less.
That would eat you up inside and you would find yourself having the same symptoms as the person you made fun of. But these symptoms could sometimes be worse because you're already insecure about yourself, it just adds on.
Let's say the person didn't kill them self. Instead they stood up for them self, what would you do now? Well you'd find a new way to make fun of them. A new way to make their life miserable. Why? Because if you can't, then you don't feel the power and attention you crave.
This happens in everyday life. All schools, work, even randomly on the street. It's not going to stop, but all I ask is for some people just to think what they're doing and what they're causing. This Shouldn't be happening! Even if it's not going to stop, the best I can do is try.
Thank you for your time.
And Remember.

Some people think that hurting people is good, that's the main problem.

to be honest some people never have a bad conscience. they just simply do it to hurt people. it sounds hard but it's true. some people just don't care. you missed that fact in your blog
the rest is good. (Y)

Actually, some people don't ever feel guilty after kids commit suicide.
Two kids at my school last year ended up committing suicide and the stupid popular people continued making fun of them.
But some people can change, I guess.
*gives you a thumbs up*
