What's my purpose in life?
So, in my Philosophy 330: Religions of the East class on Monday, one of the comments my professor made was that in Hinduism, all of the people on this earth all have a specific purpose on this earth. I mean, some people become doctors, some people become musicians, some people become presidents…
But what about good ole wait_what? What is my purpose in this life? What are my contributions to society and our entire world in terms of social, economic, and political aspects?
It really got me thinking about my use for this world. I know it sucks to think about being a tool for the Earth, but I mean, this is what the Hindus believe. Now, I’m not a Hindu… I’m agnostic, but still…
I agree with that. Everyone DOES serve a purpose for everyone.
So what about me?
I believe I was put in this world to be awesome and spread awesomeness around the world. I mean, like seriously… I’m just too awesome for that to not be my purpose in life. I’m like… too awesome for humanity…
You see, I’ve always thought that I’d make an awesome leader of some sort… teacher, mayor, governor, senator, president, emperor, god…
But I’m TOO awesome for all of that little stuff. Don’t like it? Deal with it. I’m awesome. That’s my purpose in life.

I didn't know that Hinduism preached that everyone had a purpose...and I'm a born Hindu...O_o...

That's cool. Like you, I'm of the belief that everyone serves a purpose. It just takes a while for us to realize what we're destined to do.
