Meant With All Your Heart

No this is not another blog about me, some hopeless romantic teenage girl, who had her heartbroken. No this is not another blog on how people think they are in love but really aren’t. No…this is a blog about being in love.

Perhaps the most painful, happiest, most extraordinary thing on Earth. Love is something that dwells in everyone and everything. It is the act of caring so deeply about another, that you would do absolutely everything and anything for them. Your heart beats a million times faster when you are with them and your mind races with thousands of thoughts when you are missing them. Love takes time, it takes risks, and even some pain, but in the end it is the greatest gift to any human being.

Whether it is the love between a mother a daughter, a man and a woman, two best friends, or even from the same gender, love is something that can change a life dramatically. Sometimes you may be wrong to assume you love somebody, but that doesn’t mean you should get discouraged and just give up. Being young, like most of you GSBians are, love can be something you are lacking and pray for to someday have. But it is not rushed and it is not forced. When you least expect it…expect it. And never think that you can’t fall in love.

There is no age to love someday. There is no age to start, and there is no age to stop. If someone is so dear to your heart, that just the fact they may be upset over anything little, you feel your pain. Its like you share there body. You’d give your life for them…you’d kill for them. They are constantly on your mind and they give you unexplainable feelings. That is love. Its not a definition in a dictionary…it’s a feeling. True love will never die, it will never stop, it can never be stopped. Don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t in love or that you can’t be in love when in your heart you feel it. You’ll know when it happens.

It is not something to regret or hate. It is something to be lucky to have. It is something to light the way in the dark. It is that spark inside of you. Its what saves you from your enemies…even if that enemy is yourself. Hearts are meant to share, not to keep for yourself. Someday someone is going to come along and take you and sweep you off your feet, and just like drinking saltwater, you’ll always thirst for more.

Marriage: promising your love to a person forever. Can you imagine looking in their eyes and swearing to them that they’ll be yours no matter what? That even when you die they’ll still be the only thing on your mind? To look at your hand and see the jewelry sparkling on your finger and reminding you why you wake up every morning.

I’m begging everyone who hasn’t experienced to never give up. When you have it, you’ll know it. And you’ll never want to give it up. Never give it up. Hold onto it will all you have because there is nothing more beautiful and there is nothing more extraordinary or life changing than love. You may not have it until you are 30, or 40, or you may have already had it. There is no right time for love. There is no correct age and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

And when you do finally find it GSB…I wish you the best. I wish you a lifetime of pure bliss with that person. Keep them close.
