Sweet Sixteen Celebrations
I can't say I did something big for my sweet sixteen, but I went out today and I had the time of my life.
First of all, we celebrated a bit in school, and my friends got the entire student body (120 kids or so) to sing throughout the day, which was really nice. Then they took me out to a nearby store and we bought some food, sat down and had some laughs for a bit... then went back to school, haha.
Today, I met up with my best friend downtown and bought some stuff at Barnes and Noble.. and she bought me the speakers I wanted (well, we split the cost in half) for my birthday, which was really sweet. After that we walked around the city... ate at this really nice burger place on 6th avenue and 22nd street (my fellow New Yorkers might know this place; it's really good!), and then sat for a bit before going back home.
Though I didn't throw a really big party with lots of alcohol and people at my house, I still spent some time with a close friend, and I can say that it was the best birthday to this date. =]
