Don't you just hate it when your teachers try too hard to look and sound cool???
In one History lesson,my teacher-Mr. Barter (who my classmates always call him a twat)...he was being slammed against by my classsmates,saying out loud that he isn't that cool...
He then defended himself by saying that he is cool and started saying stuff like "Green Day Rocks!","My Chemical Romance Rocks!" and so on...etc...etc... I questioned myself...there's no way he's into rock musics,as I'm a rocker fanatic myself...I could tell that he's not the type...
As I'm the only rocker in the whole class,I started quizzing him on his "knowledge" of the rock music scene and the rock bands... & he fell to pieces!!! LMAO!! I then gave him all the correct answers!!! Lol...
I kicked his ass!!! I remember all the shock faces of my classmates and peers looking at me...lol...
Sorry!! I am just soooo happy...I'm basking in my glory!! I kicked my teacher's ass!!!

I think they just think students will be able to identify with them better if they say they know something about pop culture. It doesn't stem from any ill will, and it doesn't seem like an occasional to humiliate them.
