Super Smash Bros. Brawl! [Wii]
Oh My Frackin Gawdd!
This game is awesome, a better upgrade and boost to the series.
The Good -
All your favorite nintendo characters colliding in one big BRAWL! Plus, two extra non-nintendo characters! Solid Snake [Metal Gear Solid] and Sonic The Hedgehog join in on the fight fest! The fighting is a bit more balance this time around, with easier ways to pull of moves and it still doesn't take away from the game. New to this game is the "Subspace Emissary" which is basically the story side of "Smash", a new and improved one-player adventure game and a second player can join in anytime as well. The controls are pretty much the same as all the previous games so those new or veterans to the game can get used to it ASAP. One bonus to the controls is the ability to use four different types; the Wii-remote held sideways, the Wii-remote & Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or the Gamecube controller and as an extra you can customize the controls a bit to your liking and save it onto that controller. The game has pretty much, what feels like and almost endless list of unlockables, bonuses and extras than before there's just so much to do in this game. The biggest strength in Brawl is the multiplayer, this time around you can buddy up with your pals in a lot more modes than just tournaments and what not (as stated in adventure mode) instead of going it alone.
The Bad -
Well, there's really not much to complain about only minor things.
The only things that got to me were the longer loading times, fighting wi-fi online is kinda limited, and if you don't have any gamecube/classic controllers then using the wii-remote (with or without the nunchuk) takes some time to get used to...
The Ugly - [or pretty]
9.8 out of a 10

oh i'd say it is a ten!! lol. i love this game A LOT!!! i don't have a wii but i've been going to my boyfriends house like every day to play it, all the smash games have been his favorite since he was a kid. he is sooo good at it but i like brawl because even though i'm not that good i can still play and have a slightly better chance at beating him...someday i will...haha. the controls are so much easier, but still controled the same way! its great. plus i love stage creator and subspace emissary co-op, its amazing. oh and you forgot to say there are now co-op event matches!
