Warning: RANT!

This is something I observe quite often. I don't want to offend anyone, it's not what criticism is all about. And that's also what this should be: a criticism.

I think it's quite sad that it seems like people don't dare to actually criticize people because people tend to take it personal. I'm not saying that I'm better, because I have to learn to take criticism better, too. But this should be about something else, it's about people who simply don't look behind the words; because not everything that sounds good is actually good.

I don't like it when people always agree on everything. It's like OH YA YOU'RE SO RIGHT OMG *hails*. I see it on GSB, but I also see it outside. Someone writes or says something that comes out as half smart, and everyone is like OMG THATS SO GOOD, WELL WRITTEN/SAID.

I wished people would read more between the lines, I wished they wouldn't just agree to everything that seems right at first glance. And you know what, even if you might not always be right, you should not always agree to everything, you should challenge people, you should be critical and test if they truly stand behind what they write.

It's so boring if everyone's just like OH YA THATS SOOOO GOOD. Give them advice of what to do better, challenge them in their beliefs. That also leads to a stronger forming of beliefs and helps the people actually.

But then again I think some people aren't even interested in that or take any kind of criticism serious. Also there are a lot of people who don't dare to criticize someone because they don't want to offend. If you stick with the popular people and agree to what they say that doesn't help anything.

This blog might come out a little harsh and many people might not agree to what I say but that's what's positive. It's not about people agreeing, it's about starting an argumentation, it's about debating over things, and not just saying what's obvious, or agreeing easily on things that seem oh so great.
