The Perfect Heaven

For a religion project, we had to write about our fantasy of heaven. She said to have fun with it, and there's no wrong. In other words, it's supposed to be about how you'd like to live in the afterlife. I don't know, I just finished mine, so I guess I'll post mine for fun:

In my regular life, there are three things that I covet with every fiber of my being, but have yet to obtain: privacy, relaxation, and concert tickets. Still bearing the last in mind, my kingdom of heaven would be a tropical rainforest. Whenever it suits me, I can retreat to my personal little outing in the back of the forest, where an already-made hammock awaits me, hung between two gigantic palm trees towering above, casting the perfect shade, but also allowing the tiniest hint of sunlight to peek through their treetops. I am surrounded by exotic plants and animals, neither being poisonous or of a lethal nature. Soon enough, I can curl up and daydream myself to sleep, lulled by the pleasant acoustic guitar work courtesy of Jimmy Page; he might be playing “Going to California,” “Tangerine,” or even “The Rain Song.”

Eventually, I would be itching to spend some time in a more exciting environment. So, a few minutes away from my tropical rainforest is a festival – a rock festival - similar to the ones normally held in Britain, where all the best bands of the time come out and play an entire set list. My favorite bands, and even my friends’ favorite bands are playing, and after each band plays, they come out in the crowd and talk to everyone and watch the rest of the shows. Plus, God manages to figure out a way to arrange seating so the entire audience can see the show, and whenever someone leaves for refreshments, he can immediately find who he was sitting next to without getting lost. All of the people who had a positive impact on my life are present, my family, friends, and idols, and we simply enjoy each other’s company and enjoy the shows!

Heh. Deep down, I guess I'm a dreamer.
