So I won't stop dying, won't stop lying
The day has finally come!!!
Well, almost.
You know how I've been writing blog after blog, dwelling on my dream? Well, in case you didn't know, my minor dream is to learn an instrument,and I've chosen bass guitar. My major dream is to be the famous vocalist/bassist of Wasted Time, a band known and loved worldwide.
Now I'm one step closer!
My friend sent me a link to the WalMart website where they have this entire fucking starter kit thing, and you get everything you could ever possibly need for your bass, plus the bass itself, for about $167 or so.
I called my mom at work and told her about it and she said that if I use my own money I could get it!!!
But get this: I asked her when and she said BEFORE THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!
And it comes with a DVD that gives you step-by-step instructions and there's also this really helpful YouTube channel, and my cousin...
I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! I've wanted to learn bass for years and finally I CAN!!!
I'm sorry that I'm so damn excited, but you've really gotta understand it. This is bringing me just a few steps closer to my dream!!!
Now, there are variables, like the dependability of WalMart and how quickly my mom changes her mind and how I've got an orthodontist apt. Thursday and all, and if I didn't wear my retainers enough (which I didn't) she's gonna be really pissed (but I've got a quick remedy for that) and shit like that.
Still, I'M LEARNING BASS!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
For once, I'm actually really truly happy.
It's like I'm almost completely okay!!!

I'm really excited for you, but just so you know, it's going to be really hard. I remember asking a guy who played both bass and guitar in this program with me and he told me bass was 10 times harder than guitar. Good luck. :D
