Am I really the first person on here to see Twilight?! lol...
I don't know if any of you are big fans of Twilight, but I think its an amazing book. So I went to the midnight premiere of Twilight...and it was AMAZING.
There were SO many people, two rooms packed full of Twilight fans who screamed when it started and clapped at all the parts that matched the book. There were people dressed as vampires and every other person had a book in their hand, either Twilight or another book in the series (I had New Moon....lol)...it was awesome.
OH and there WAS a Harry Potter preview! And it looks pretty awesome =]
I'm not going to say much about the movie other than they did a pretty good job at telling the story. Of course they couldn't include every detail, but the parts they picked for the movie told the story well. The ending is a bit different than the book...which is slightly irritating because it gives away a hint to the rest of the series. I was disappointed that they didn't develop the Cullen's characters very much but I'm sure they will be more prominent in the future. Hopefully. The part that disappointed me the most was they didn't even give Jasper a real speaking part, he just stood there looking beautiful...Jasper is a bit more significant in the book. But! Its worth seeing! So, go see it! And read the books if you haven't already!

I saw it yesterday. I thought they did a good job of bringing the book to life. It was better than I expected it to be. I do agree though, about developing the Cullen characters. They didn't even once mention Jasper's ability. Kinda irked me. But I'm sure it'll show up SOMEWHERE along the line... =\ As for the ending, I think they did that so people who HAVEN'T read the books know that it's not really the end and there's more to come... *shrugs* Overall, I can't wait for the next one to come out =D Wanna see how they do the werewolf thing.

to make a point
I read the books 8 times through
I was the biggest critic there.
I think the movie followed the book pretty well, there were a lot of things missing and fused together, but that's what you get with any movie that's based off of a book. my expectations were really low when I went to see it. It was much better than I thought. All the characters set in place and they make it amazing. They had really good effects and backgrounds. I would suggest seeing the movie. Either you like it or you don't, but you should see it just for your perspective.

I hear the movie wasn't that good. I'm scared to see it cause I don't want to ruin the books.
:\

I so do NOT want to see it. Whoever decided that Diggory would be even close to looking like Edward should be flogged. Hufflepuffs are horrible vampires. >.<

i couldn't really get into the books, but even at an objective standpoint, thought the movie was horrible. no offense, just.... wasn't a fan. i'd buy that eyeshadow edward was wearing though +1
