Pittsburgh Penguins Win the Stanley Cup!
Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only Pens fan here. So let me be one of the first to say: WE DID IT!!!
That little bit of gloating aside, I was ecstatic when the Penguins won. When Detroit scored in the third period, I was getting a little antsy. But man, Fleury didn't let those pucks past easily, did he?
I usually have an eye for this kind of thing. I knew my cousin was going to graduate when everyone else said he wouldn't. I know what tennis players will win, what horses will win, what football teams will win. And I definitely knew that the Pens would win tonight. I had my doubts for about .0034 seconds, but other than that I didn't sweat about it.
This is the second time this year that Pittsburgh won. First the Steelers with the Super Bowl, now the Pens with the Stanley Cup. Sadly, I do not have high hopes for the Pirates. It's been what, sixteen to eighteen years since they won? Why don't they just frickin' give up already?!
Anyways, being the hockey fan that I am, I have to get a bit of this in. I hope you don't mind, I just really gotta do it.
HA! IN YOUR F*CKIN' FACE, DETROIT! YOU DIDN'T STAND A F*CKIN' CHANCE!!!!! TAKE THAT!
Sorry if I offended any Redwings fans.
I loved the looks on their faces when they lifted the Cup. Crosby is the youngest effing captain to ever do it!
Marc Andre Fleury visited our school once. I didn't get to see him because our principal hates me, but... yeah.
I'm sorry if I'm getting a bit off-topic a LOT here, it's just... I'm FRICKIN' ECSTATIC!!!! The Pens won! So naturally, I can't get my thoughts in order.
There were a lot of people in red in the stands. They had to be disappointed at the fact that their team lost.
And at the end, Cooke was there with his kid and it was cute. I liked that.
Anyways, I gotta go. Celebrating and stuff.

honestly, i'm not a pens fan, but i much rather have had them win than the red wings. my dad's a pittsburgh guy, he used to live in that area. so yeah, that kinda made no sense.
pennsylvania is full of champions it seems. there's the two pittsburgh teams, but also philedelphia winning the world series.
but anyways. congratulations to the pens. as i said, i don't really like them, but, i don't like the red wings either, more than the penguins. when they scored the two goals i was all excited. and when they scored, i got a bit antsy, and worried. but oh man, fleury was f*ckin amazing. he showed lots of composure in the crease. they really deserved it, and proved they wanted it more.
and, from what i remember seeing, crosby only had a goal and two assists this series? maybe my eyes deceived me, but if they didn't, well pittsburgh proved it even more than. without their big time player, their other players were getting it done. which shows something.
wow, this is a long comment, that makes like, no sense.. i'm sorry. haha.

To Shadow of a Doubt: OMGYES!!!!!
To Robert Pattinson: I am aware. I was just doing my freaking out at the awesomeness of the Penguins. Like I said, I didn't mean to offend any Detroit fans. Really. Just f*cking ecstatic.

Uh..if Detroit didn't "stand a f*cking chance", they wouldn't have made it to the seventh game in the series.
The outcome could have very easily been different.
I would have rather the Red Wings won, but either way..congrats to the Pens.
