Green day 8-8-09

I know, It's taken me over 2 months but now I feel It's time to Share how my Green Day concert Experience went.

Lets start with this. 5 years ago I was walking down to Gym class when I saw a tall Boy pass me in a Green Day jacket. Ignore Judys head xD she has nothing to do with this, but that's the jacket so being the little Green day fan that I am, I ran up to him. and His name was Chris. We bacame friends due to the shared love of Green day. and always planned to go to our first Green day concert together.

Fast forward to May 2009. I used to check Greendayauthority and GSB at school during Study hall. I don't remember how this ran down but I remember Seeing Houston Texas on the tour. I wanted Floor. But Chris couldn't be in the pit. so my uncle who works high up in Toyota [the show was at the Toyota center] got us into the Club. which is as close to the stage as you get without being on the floor. and Even then you might be closer.

The summer of 2009 was odd for me. I had developed Insomnia, With it I couldn't sleep until 7:00 AM. I was in 3 relationships back to back. I was a wreck. So when It became 7 AM on 8-8-09 I Passed out only to be awoken by My grandmother who called to tell me Green day had swine flu as a joke. I fell back asleep only to again be woken by Chris who was telling me to get up, he was coming over before the concert.

I got up, Did my hair, got My Green day shirt on and when Chris came over [he lives down the road] We turned up 21st century Breakdown as loud as we could. Chris Played the GSB Green day quiz for an hour as I got a Sign for out bear we threw up on stage. Also We got my mom to wear her Green day shirt We were shocked His dad came and picked the 3 of us up. Chris Played Sadoku all the way to the Toyota center and when we got there the doors were already open. We walked into the club seating. Chris's Dad and My mother went to Drink wile Franz played. Chris and I squeeled about how we were in the Same space as our Heros. When they left the mega tron was Texting in Updates. I sent one in about how Happy I was to be there with Chris. Chris sent one about me but his didn't get put up like Mine did. soon the Drunk bunny came on. Which as we know means. Green days on their way!

They came on and started with 21st Century Breakdown then went into "Know your enemy" I noticed Billie joe Running down to the Stage. into the Isle I was in, 121. I ran to him. I was pushed buy body guards when I tried to Hug him, I was hit and I fucked my Ankle up Pretty well. But I also touched Billie Joe armstrong as did chris.

The rest of the show was Amazing. Mike ran to our side of the stage many times. Tre was amazing as always. Billie Let the audience sing Blv. Of broken dreams wile he Rested. Which I found Funny as hell. My camera was Taken up but I was okay with that. cause I took the Memory card. I love Green day. and what they did for me. Getting to see them Live, In person was a dream come true.
