waiting in the rain

i saw you with another girl mistaking you ditched me for her.
i walked and walked to follow you and i waited, but you never came.
i stood there as it started to rain.
waiting for you in the clod night.
my tears bleeding down my face.
you could not see them because of the rain.
my body soaked, but you were still not there.
i waited and waited all through the night, but you never came.
my heart broke that night.
when you never came to clear the mistake.
i guess.....it was the truth.
when you looked out your window, and there i stood.
you had dashed outside, but i had disappeared out of the blue.
you waited.
i never came.
and in the morning when you saw me, i passed you by frowning.
"i waited but you never came, i even stood in the rain. i followed you and that girl,
i even cried,but there i was soaking wet," i say.
then there he stood as it started to rain,
soon he'd be soaking wet from the rain.
then maybe tears would fall down his face.
and there he would wait EVERY day.
