Not to sound like a my-dad-is-bigger-than-your-dad, but My mother works with schizophrenics each and every day and there is an incredibly strong link. Whether you choose to accept that or not is fine; I mean my parents would be out of a job if schizophrenia wasn't so common.

i don't care that people smoke, its was their mistake. Just don't make me pay for it. I hate when people smoke around me.I have been subject to second hand smoke for about 4 years now and i can't STAND IT!!!!!!! It is so disgusting!!! and suffocating(sp)!!!!! and i think that there should be separate places for smokers because i don't want to pay for a hotel room and have it smell of smoke-thats happened to me and my roomates on the Washingnton D.C. trip. We had a non-smoking room and we figured out that it was the MAIDS smoking in our rooms.

Well, bsically, you're not going to fuck yourself up if you don't spend several hours a day getting high. Everything in moderation. You'd have to smoke a rediculus amount of weed for it to cause breakdowns etc.

No, thats bullshit. There have been many cases where the person has gotten a mental illness from just smoking it once.

The Goverment are trying to stop smoking in public places. But when you think about it who is getting money from smokers...The Goverment.

They do have to take care of smokers, but their costs are overshadowed to the nth degree by the amount of money ponied up by tobacco companies and lobbyists.

you can buy ciggarettes at 16 and seeing as under the age of adult your not even classsified as a young adult but as a child, i'm pretty happy my little brother can't go out and by fags.

even though he is over 6ft 2 so probably could pass as a 21 year old

its naive to think you cant buy them if your not 18. I have friends who buy them with siblings Id, look 18 or do whatever they can. Some older friends and siblings also buy them. If you want it bad enough you can get it, doesnt matter what your talking about drugs, ciggarettes etc...

Yeah! and then they'll lowered it to 14, most 13-year-olds can pass for 14 so they'll be getting ciggerettes too, and before you know it little impressionable kids who don't fully understand the dangers of smoking are at it.
Smoking kills. If it were up to me they'd be banning it altogether not making it more available.
