I know a lot of pople who smoke for long time. And no one died. Not yet.

You can die of chocolate, not just of smoking.

No you can not "die of chocolate". Certain types of chocolate actually has proven health benefits.

What your saying is right (I think I read something about dark chocolate being good for you), but perhaps she meant it as a secondary effect.
i.e, if you eat, eat, eat chocolate constantly, you could become very obese and die from that.

Well yes, but that can be applied to any food if you think about it. But you don't stop eating food because you can only die from food if you eat too much of it (or choke on it!) but all foods when eaten in moderation can be good for us, the same cannot be said for ciggarettes.

My grandpa died from smoking. He had these fits where he would cough up blood. Like, serious amounts. I was scared to go into his house after that.

My mum quit after that, and hopefully nothing ever happens to her as a result of smoking. I would hate to go through that again.

I hate those adverts where they have like family members crying or they show that woman with tubes stuck in her so she can breathe. I think they do work though, cause when smokers see what can happen to them then they will stop.

I would never smoke though cause there's a history of smoking related cancer in my family.

i quit smoking about 14 years ago when i found out i was pregnant and i didnt start again, i quit because i had a responsiblity to look after my unborn child, but i was like many smokers i was arrogant and thought i'd be ok, but i am sooooooooo glad i quit.

ouch. as a smoker I KNOW there are consequneces, but in all fairness there are consequences to everything. Im not sure if its arrogance or purely not caring. And i also think its hard to caterogize all smokers that way.

sorry but that is just my opinion, i also say that when you smoke, you smell, your house smells, your clothes smell and if you have kids it is bad for them to breath in second hand smoke which is just has bad has smoking,
