i dont know how long it took to get "good". but i've been playing for 2 1/2 years. i dont consider myself good, but other people have told me i am, so i dunno. |

Posts: 1066 | December 17th, 2005 at 12:28pm i started learning for the 3rd time (i hated my other two guitar teachers and my guitar) about a month ago... and my friend says im very good allready but then i learn really really really quickly... i can even play the beggining of 86 behind my head  ...  ok so thats just showing off really but it annoys the hell out of ppl who say girls cant play guitar! 
but yeah... i dont think you ever really stop learning, you just get better at different rates. |

agreed! he can solo here and there but i'm sure many people can do those solos =P but i guess he never really needed to learn to play anything besides power chords cuz they're a power chord band. i seriously can't imagine him shredding =S |

But I've been learning a year, and I still need alot of practice before I can play well. I can do pretty basic guitar solos and a few classical peices. I can do bar chords and normal chords. But I still suck! XD |

Like in Warning you have to change them pretty fast, actually scratch that, Poprocks & Coke there's a lot going on from switching on and off from powerchords to reg to power |
