I think my favorite Nirvana CD is Nevermind. I like them all though. I got Sliver for Christmas. Smile

Sliver is great tehe

I love all their CDs... I can't really choose a favourite... I love them all equally, but in different ways Cassie *nods* Each CD, to me, has a sorta... mood... and I just pick the appropriate CD to suit mine. Mhm.

My mom got me this DVD for Christmas and it's about Nevermind... it's part of a DVD series about classic albums. I don't know if any of you have seen it, but it's really cool. I like the comments Dave made on it about Kurt and just everything. I was surprised my mom even got it for me because she hates Nirvana's music... the other day when I had Sliver turned up really loud she told me I should be shot for listening to it. Laughing

Me too! That was my favorite story and I liked the story Butch Vig told about how he wanted Kurt to record the same thing like 5 times and he kept lying to him. Laughing

heh I saw it on TV. I'm too cheap to get it. Laughing but I don't think they showed all of it.. idk. it was good though. hearing those backing vocals to Something in the Way was kinda creepy to me Shocked they're so high & the song's so sullen and everything...

I don't think I'd be comfortable reading his journal. I know it would be interesting, but when I read this, I realilzed how wrong i would feel. “the most violating thing I have felt this year is not the media exaggerations [sic] or the catty gossip, but the rape of my personal thoughts!" He was so violated by people getting inside his head...I'd just be afraid his spirit would strangle me Shocked

I never liked that song until I started to really listen to Nirvana. Once Also once I heard the unplugged version I loved it. And yeah that part in the studio is eerie. It really shows how depressing and great the song is. It also made me more interested in the way songs work

I know. I love that song. but I have to be in a mood to listen to it. cause if I'm depressed, I'll get really depressed & if I'm happy, I'll get depressed Laughing
& yeah, watching those kind of shows (I saw one on Fleetwood Mac's Rumours & U2's the Joshua Tree) really gets you thinking about all that studio shit that I otherwise have no clue about Laughing

That song makes me depressed. But I love the solemness to it. It just meh.. If I'm hyper, that's the song I can calm down and mellow out to.

I don't know if I can sing along iwth it. I know I can't sing along to You Know you're Right and the screamy part in Where Did You Sleep Last Night? from the Unplugged show. *shivers* Those songs are intense and just get to me in ways no other songs do.

The whole Unplugged show sends shivers up my spine. It's so fantastic...and kinda haunting...especially when he speaks in between songs...

I think the best song -- vocally wise.. if that makes sense is when he sings Oh Me. Just the way he sings it sends shivers up my spine. I think I'm gonna watch that tonight. All this talk made me miss it. Cheese

I love the story of that TV show where he talks about the kids getting eaten or something and eh was like "that's not very catholic" lmfao. Oh and when he smiles.. Kurt has an amazing smile and I love his teeth. I just wish he smiled more cuz he really has an amazing smile. I said that already but i'm just saying it again haha.

This is really random but my weird cousin was pretending he was going to see Nirvana live and my dad was like, 'what are they gonna do about their lead singer being dead?' My cousin didn't think of that. He was like, 'er... k. I'm not seeing them.' Dumbarse... :teehee:
