 | February 16th, 2007 at 04:40pm I love Smells Like Teen Spirit, yes you might be saying that I'm that type of person that only likes a band because of their most famous song... but no, I'm not. Kurt was a great guitar player (To me the 2nd best Left Handed, after Jimmy Hendrix) and a great singer. |

Infact the main character was Curt.
It was okay.
But I like the real Kurt a lot better.
And I've been wearing my Nirvana tee a lot lately.. |

That's why a lot of the labels liked him. Because he could still keep his pitch even when was screaming. Lithium is a good example. all those Yeahhhs. He's changing his pitch. |

Yeah... I love how he screams on pitch and everything. It sounds twisted and weird, but I could almost listen to him scream all day... haha. |

You're not the only one. I was actually trying to explain that to my mom the other day, haha. The singer in my brother's band just kind of screams his lungs out, and my mom was like, "He sounds like Kurt!" But I told her "No, because Kurt screamed on pitch..." And I consider him to be a pretty damn good singer, and...maybe not a technically excellent guitarist, you'd never really see him playing any kind of face-melting solo, but he was pretty original and had his own style. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | February 18th, 2007 at 04:48pm I was actually talking about Kurt with the teacher from my old school who got me into music and FOW last night. We were talking about he's a great singer and he's got a great sense of rhythm but he just covers it up with tons of distortion and drums.
He was definitely original. AH I Love Kurt haha |
