Anyway.
Mick Jones saved Johnny Green's life once. Johnny was driving a car and he was leaning out of the door, when the gear slipped. He was getting crushed alive. Joe, Johnny says, was in the passenger seat crying and saying things such as, "Oh God! Johnny's dying! He's going to be killed!" And Topper and Paul go out to the front of the car and try to push it back, no use. Mick calmly reaches forward and puts the handbrake on. He's pretty cool under pressure, I'd say. |
