It all started last year when i found out you can't have a christmas tree in school anymore because it's insensitive to other religions, i go to a catholic school 99.9 percent of the school were angry because we couldn't have one.
Poltical correctness is very one sided in England, the government feel they need to protect the religion and races outside of the 'norm' of england (Judaism, hindu) Yet they neglect the discrimination that many christians face.
I was once visiting my cousin in San Francisco, when a black man called her a white bitch for bumping passed him accidently, when my cousin told him that he was being racist, he meerly shrugged and said it wasn't because he's not white. Unfortunately that is a common misconception that many politicians and civilians share. |

i forget the name but a school in france banned ALL religious objects from school, because they thought it might cause discimination, i agree with this because it's not one group being discriminated against, but a girl refused to not where her,gah i do not the exact word but it's like a head scarf, anyway she wouldn't go to school, yet christains weren't allowed to where crosses, jewish students weren't allowed to where their hate thingy's (i'm really shit when comes to remembering religious clothing), so she sued the school and won. |
