Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | November 16th, 2006 at 11:01am I've written 3/4ish thatI acutally like. I play the first one once in a while. The second one I always forget about and the 3rd one is in G tuning and I'm too lazy to ever tune my strings to G tuning so I rarely ever play that one. I should probably do it soon before I forget cuz I think I forgot part of it And the last oneI just wrote last week. I usually can only think of 2 parts but this one acutally has 3. its in Drop A tuning cuz I wrote it afte rplaying Stacked Actors so its all cool and stuff and then blah blah. Haha. It sucks that I have noone to share it with though |

We do get offtopic, but usually it's related in some distant way...ie, we talk about Taylor's socks.
I can't write music for songs. I can only write lyrics. And I wrote a guitar riff once and I forgot it. I can play Over and Out though! Sometimes I sit there and play it over and over...but it's not as fun as For All the Cows.
Oh, and when I saw "tube socks" up there I instantly thought of the Chili Peppers. |

Oh, I'm in the wrong thread. haha.
Today in Chem we were talking about Dave. Last night my friend James and I had been trying to think of a name for our band, and he was like "How about Dain Bramage?" and I was like "AH DAVE GROHL WAS IN A BAND BY THAT NAME! *is obsessed*" haha and we were talking about it again today with half the Chem class. It was fun stuff. |

 BAD Nirvana fan! *slaps him*
My whole band worships Dave, it's hilarious. Except the kid who's supposed to be the singer but he's got awful taste in music.
I still can't believe Elana didn't appreciate Everlong till now. She's such a fool. |

And yes, I agree. Everlong is one of my favorite Foo songs EVER. |

I'm the opposite. I can't really write lyrics. WEll I don't know. I try and then I get depressed becuase they suck compared to Dave, Billie and Kurt's. But music... I get moments when I just randomly come up with something and when I do its good. I've gotten into the Dave thing where he uses these weird chords that aren't the average power/regular chords you see a lot. |

Apparently there's a rumor floating around on the Foo board that the Foo might be coming to NJ to play a concert around Xmas. Its kinda weird though cuz if they were gonna play a random xmas concert, I would think it would be in the city.. but.. Maybe they just like NJ cuz its awesome. COME NEAR ME DAMMIT. NOT SOUTH JERSEY. *gets on knees and begS*
I ain't gonna get my hopes up too high becuase last time I did that (Foo concert in August) I was really disappointed. So I'll just be all cool and stuff |

The whole first 5 minutes of the movie is just Dave walking around a building playing Skin and Bones over and over and over He was playing it for his daughter too... she's so cute |
