yeah...and rita skeeter was kinda pointless in the movie...they shouldve left her out... since they left so many things out in the first place

They made GOF with everything in it [spynx in the maze, etc] but then they edited a lot out of it. I think they could've left some of it in though, and made it longer.

Yep, it surprised me that they didn't use the all time possible for this movie... it's only 2,5 hours, 3 hours would have been fine.

The Return of The King was longer, if remembered right. But those movies are not for children, unlike most of the Potters are.


Just think about it.... LOTR was done so well you possibly can, it's a hard book to read, let alone to make a movie of. They took their time and all.
But Potters... they were made in a rush and the commercialism shines through the movies. Those are easy books, and a lot easier to make, since the author is alive and breathing. Rowling has been either greedy or just wants to please everyone. Or just doesn't know anything about film making.

i went to the midnight premeire and it wasn't worth it. it's my favorite movie so far but it is still way off track from the book. and i'm still pissed that i failed 2 tests because of HP (i got 2 hrs. of sleep that night)

[talking about HP: GoF] I had to watch the damn thing on DVD cause no one wanted to take me to the movies. >.> It was crappy it repeated a small part and skipped a small part Laughing Oh well. Not my favorite of the movies but still ok.
