What religion?
I know of no religion which is 'against' Gays outright. My fairly in-depth knowledge of Christianity tells me a true christian will accept homosexuals because they are creations of 'God' and therefore were made in his image and likeness.

You can't prevent your children seeing homosexuality.
Believe it or not, the have the civil right to be together (yes, in public), and technically even to get married (marriage as a civil union has existed much longer than marriage as spiritual union).
What's wrong about it?
Where is it specifically stated to be against your religion? Most people don't see Leviticus as being valid evidence.
Do you realize that the entire world is NOT of the same religion as you are?

Are you comparing Incest and Homosexuality? How did that have any relevance in this arguement at all? It made no sense. And if they 'disgust' you, you need to learn that every single little person in this world doesnt think exactly like you. According to this thread they do, because everyone says the same thing over and over, but in real life, people are intitled to their opinions, and reguardless of it you like it or not, you have to respect their rights to have that opinion. And going back to the christianity thing, you said Church and State are seperate, and you used it in your arguement to prove your point, saying Jesus loves everyone. You can't have it both ways. i'm too lazy to read through all 21 pages,so this is my opinion.
we all have our rights...and being able to marry the one you truly love is definitely one of them...no one should have the right to tell somebody they shouldn't get married cuz they find it disgusting.
i mean,the first time i was introduced to homosexuality was labout six moths ago when my best friend had told me he was bi and that he has a boyfriend.
yeah,i thought it was weird and stuff,but he's still my best friend no matter who is he with.he is still the same person.
we shouldn't judge ppl by the person who they are sleeping with but by the way they are on the inside.

the reason for not allowing gay marriage isn't because people find it disgusting, not even Congress is retarded enough to let that go!
there are three sides to marriage: love (homosexuals are allowed to do that), legal: (I swear, you can get those rights through a lawyer, I swear it, I know plenty of lawyers and I've asked the major rights of marriage) and religious: (this is why marriage was started and this part is up to the Church, if the Church can't decide for the government then the government can't decide for the Church and the government cannot tell the Church to allow the religious side of gay marriage)
I've been repeating myself so much in here too.....but at least I haven't repeated anyone else's idea
