Its funny how heterosexual couples really dont wanna get married and take it for granted[not saying all of them but from expierence over here] And homosexual couples wanna fight for it.
O_O Again Im not saying its a joke like haha a thing to laugh about but....i dont want to word things wrong. You guys seemed to mind. o_o iunno. just saying.
Heh, I've noticed the same thing. You'd think that being in love alone would be able to constitute marriage.
Also, why does religion have anything to do with marriage, well rather, Christianity. There are other religions out there and they can't all reject homosexuality. And athiests get married all the time. If a gay couple is athiest then can the get married? I just don't understand...
You dont have to get married through the church, you can do it in a court or something. I dont really know like a legal union or something.
I heard that you can sign a marrige license along with some witnesses and that would marry you like going through a wedding in a church. I'm not 100% on that though.

'THey are exactly the same as heterosexuals. I mean, as long as theyre not hurting anyone... then its okay' (qoute my art teacher- yes, i did ask for her views...)
They should be able to adopt children, but I think it would be akward for the child, but I have no problem with them adopting children.
They should be able to marry in a church, have it be called MARRIAGE, and all that.
They should have the same rights as everyone else, because they are the same except for the fact that they like the same gender.
And, I hear its 'against the bible'?
What if Jesus was gay, and it was not told or something?!

WHy should they be allowed to be married in a Chrurch when it is against the religion? Thats not fair to those who practice that faith.
and I seriously hope the arguement about Jesus being Gay was not serious

Well Jesus was celibate (so not necessarily Homosexual or Hetereosexual) so even if he did have the hots for guys he never acted upon it. And the church says its ok to be gay, as long as you don't act upon it. So either way Jesus did the right thing and the argument is irrelevant.

actually theres all this new evidence that Jesus was married and had a kid. and it would have been really WEIRD for his religion and his time and whatnot for him not to be. *needs to stop reading the da vinchi code so much*

I'm all for gay people.
Gay people should be allowed to do whatever they want to, their people just the same as straight people. And just because some book is against it, and MAY I add that that book was written by a homophobic ass, doesnt mean everybody follows it anyways.
So if our contry is a multi cultural country or whatever, then why is the law based on one religion?
I think if they're in love, they should be aloud to get married.

God gave us choises, i don't think anyone should take them away because its our choise. There just trying to take it away because people think that god dosn't like it, he may not but he gave us the choise(we don't even know if hes real), i support it, even though im straight.

Yeah, well, we don't know for sure if he was celibate or not. It was a couple of thousand of years ago, so we really have no way of telling if he was or wasn't.

we have a simple test
hundreds of people were used in creation of the Bible, if they decided to all screw it up and make Jesus' image much different then it was one hell of a conspiracy....otherwise if one was telling the truth they all were because there were hundreds of other fact checkers
it's funny how people can say, "we found this evidence on Jesus" because they're just trying to be an asshole
if you believe in Jesus you believe the Bible, if you don'y believe the Bible and you're making your own shit up then you're an asshole

^^Not all Muslims have terrorist threats if you don't agree with their ideas. But anyway, I agree with Bloodraine, the Church has no problem with people being homosexual, as long as they don't act upon it and have gay relationships.

I know not all do, but when Muhammad was used in a comic Muslim extremists threatened a few countries...Christians didn't

yeah and most, if not all of it, is not true. my mom just finished reading the da vinci code and she talks about it a lot. a lot of the things in the book were disproven or just made up. there are a lot of examples but i just don't feel like typing that much.

There is no such thing as a true theory, remember that.
well, i have no problem with homosexual marriges, and i feel that if both partners agree to wanting a child that they should be able to adopt one, i mean, just cuz theyre gay, bi or lesbian dosnt mean they should be banned from experiencing the joys of children i mean theyre still people. iim bi too so this may aply to me in the future
