| February 20th, 2006 at 12:33am Well, Dookie came out when I was about 2 and I've loved When I Come Around since then, but in grade 6 they played Good Riddance at my elemrntary school "graduation" and I liked them even more but then my friend mentioned St. Jimmy one day in school and told me what an awesome c.d. American Idiot was so I bought it and I've been obsessed ever since |

And I got my Dad into Green Day. He came home and blasted basket case yesterday. I had to tell him to stfu because I was ill and I had a headache. |

dumpunk87 Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie
Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 6 | February 21st, 2006 at 12:38pm My dad used to play all of their songs on his guitar when I was a kid (like 'Christie Road' and 'Words I Might Have Ate'), and then my brother started listening to Dookie (I was seven!) and from then on I've been addicted. My dad still plays their music...like, it's normal for me to come home after work and he's sitting on the couch playing 'Minority' or 'Macy's Day Parade'. |
