Posts: 411 | June 18th, 2006 at 11:18pm well at first it was the radio, but i didn't know the band's name, so then later on in the week this chick i really didn't like asked me "so you're a 'rocker' right? do you like green day?" and i just shrugged and everyone around me gasped and i felt moronic so when i got home (after she let me listen to them on her cd player, and i was like "omg i've heard this before"  i looked them up and that was that. |

Posts: 481 | June 19th, 2006 at 12:32pm accaully, this guy got me into Green Day like last year, during american idiot, cuz i hadnt heard of them, even during american idiot, but he gave me his headphones and said listen and i feel in love with the music, but at first he said green day and i was like green bay, isnt that a football team and he was like no Green DAY i was like oo, so then went and bought american idiot with i was on vacation with my mom and sister and then i listened to it non stop, i git the whole cd memorized in like a week. then i went and slowly bought all the rest of their awsomely awsome cds and then i found gsb and then one day i wwent to a message board topic about green day and then i went to the one called who got u into green day??? and then i typed my answer and it was................... neverending story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posts: 27 | June 19th, 2006 at 05:09pm my dad and my little brother got me into green day. my brother burned me american idiot and i hated it at first. the only songs i likes where american idiot, holiday, and blvrd. of broken dreams. i hated everything else so i didnt listen to it that much. then summer vaca came around and i found dookie at my dads and i listened to it. i was like "okay this is alright." then i got to longview..i learned all the lyrics to that cd in 8 hours. then a couple of days later i listened to american idiot again and got a little more into it. this time i was listeing to jos, st jimmy, shes a rebel, wake me up..., homecoming, and whatsername. yeah..then i learned all the songs in a day like a month after. it took me forever to like american idiot, like 5 months. |
