I do agree, but I think they're both talented in different ways - Gerard has a more commercial vocals and is classically beautiful.
Matt has a great voice and is FABULOUS at guitar-ness.

I'm not being in any way biased because I freakin' love Bullet and MCR both the same, in, again, different ways. They're both good bands.

Matt and Gerard aren't my favourite members of both bands, it's just becuase they're the lead singers, thus usually branded the '" image '" of the band.
