Actually, they were Gilmans Home band for quite awhile, they played there at least twice a month, thats alot seeing as how most bands didnt even get to play there. Reguardless of if they wanted them in the first place or not, after the first few times they played with John, they were very high in demand. The reason they played few times before they hit the road is just that, they were on the road. When they got back, before they recorded Kerplunk, it was their home away from home, then after Kerplunk it might as well have been their only home.

Yeah, I know alot of people think that, theres going to be an Article on the New GSB about their Gilman Days, it talks about that
